Good afternoon parents!
We are excited to be able to re-open on July 6th for our summer program! While things may be different this summer, we are certainly excited to see your kids again! Our enrollment packet is available here (PDF) or here (Word) You can upload the completed packet here or return it to the church. Our summer program will operate from July 6th to August 7th. Grace Bible Academy begins our 2020-2021 school year on August 10th.
Because of the guidelines released by the governor’s office and the Cabinet of Health and Family Services, we will have limited capacity. Because of this limited capacity and to be able to operate efficiently, we will not be able to take part-time students this summer as we have in years past and will be charging the full $100 per week for care for each enrolled student. Enrollment will be at a first-come, first-serve basis. Because of the shortened summer program and lack of activities from our community partners, we are waiving the registration fee for this summer.
Also, due to the governor’s guidelines, we will not be able to have Kona Ice or our community guests that have graciously visited us in previous summers and have provided fun activities for our program. We are exploring alternative activities to provide a fun and exciting summer for your child!
The guidelines for child care re-opening also require us to keep groups separate at all times. On our enrollment form, you will notice a slot that asks for an estimated arrival and departure time. This is to help us with staffing and ensure that we are able to follow that mandate. We may adjust our hours of operation for the summer as a result.
There will be other programmatic changes due to the COVID-19 situation. We will share those with you in the coming weeks.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at academy@graceonmain.com or via cell at 859-749-9940.
